Been slammed by anxiety and depression since Sunday. Even though I’ve been doing a lot of positive stuff and had the benefit of having a grad school friend in town and we hung out a lot. Phew, that was a lifesaver!

I got up to do my power walk— I am still not able to run due to hip flexor problems that have been plaging me for years--and discovered, to my astonishment, that it had snowed!

AGAIN. And when I came back, these valiant tulips greeted me.

On the bright side, Tuesday I saw my physical therapist— who is one of those ultra runners—and asked her for more demanding exercises. And I also asked her about acupuncture. She recommended dry needling, which is similar to acupuncture in that it uses needles but it’s not acupuncture.

So I was able to schedule a session that day and it was amazing!! AND, I have an appointment with my nurse practitioner to get some medication to help with my anxiety and depression.
